The Invisible War of Electrons

Every single physical object in the entire known universe (including your carpet, your socks, and your own physical body) is completely made out of microscopic atoms. Placed perfectly in the center of these atoms are positive protons, surrounded by a chaotic swarm of highly energetic, negative particles called Electrons. Under absolutely normal physical conditions, the positive and negative charges are perfectly balanced, rendering objects electrically neutral.

However, electrons are completely restless and can be incredibly easily stolen.

When you drag your thick wool socks aggressively across a fuzzy living room carpet, the intense physical friction violently strips millions of invisible, negative electrons right off the carpet fibers and forcibly dumps them directly onto your body.

The Zap!

Suddenly, entirely without realizing it, your physical body is heavily carrying a massive, incredibly unbalanced negative electrical charge.
